Hamza Butterflies
We all know this Protective Hand when crossing a street – it protects us from harm and danger.
We know, as well, that it is the gesture of Greeting and Friendship – when we meet our fellow-human.
This hand is known as Protective Hand of Fatima, or Hamza.
Well known: in many cultures, when 2 hands being put together – different manner within different cultures – we understand it as a gesture of gratitude, or good will, or a plea for mercy… Or – as our strive for reaching to a Higher Spirit.
Now, convincingly logical: “Another Butterfly Concept” creates image of HAMZA BUTTERFLY by artistically doubling Fatima Hand/Hamza in this visual image, or, rather, in this series of visual images by a number of artists.
And the sheer beauty of these images proves our vision right – our vision of Hamza Another Butterfly.
